what happened here

Prologue

From the Journal of Jane D. Lone

I walked through the crowd. Come on I need an empty space. I thought to myself. Why is the airport so crowded? This wasn't good. I might just have to do this the mortal way. With a car.

I decided to go down the elevator, then some stairs. I traveled to the other side of the building deliberately avoiding the escalators. I was terrified of escalators.

Once I got to the ground floor I left the building, crossed the street and found my orange Toyota. I… I forgot my keys in Germany. I took a look around then I unlocked the door.

I hate driving without keys what if a cop pulls me over I would be accused of stealing.

I played it safe on the way home, going exactly 60 in the 60 zones and 55 in the 55 zones. I traveled north on highway WA-525untill I hit the Mucleteo speed way. Yes I know the Mucleteo speedway is part of 525 but I still call it Mucleteo speedway. There was a half hour wait for the ferry.

Not long I assured myself I'll be on the next boat.

I got some Ivers clam chowder and coffee.

"Ouch," Looks like I broke my hand. Again.

I'll be eating without hands too. Great.

I got back to my truck and pulled out my laptop. A long wait I might as well use it.

Ten minutes later, I heard honking. allot of honking. I opened my eyes. The car in front of me was already getting on the boat and I was holding up quite a few cars.

I sat right up and drove strait onto the ferry. 15 minutes later I got off the ferry and headed north continuing on highway 525.

I traveled until I got to Dead Goat rd.

I reached for my keys. I left my keys in Germany remember.

"Ugh" I slapped myself in the face and unlocked the door.

From the Journal of Charles H. Magic

Another immigrant from yet another country overthrown by India. Why do we have to fight like this? It is so stupid. And over something like education. Every child witch or human should get an education no matter where they lived.

"Hello Ms. Lone." I said.

A nod was her only reply.

"This is your house you need to live like a normal human American. Not an immigrant German witch. Ok."

"ja," was all she said.

"You also need to learn to speak English fluently not partially."

"Yes," she replied in a shaky voice.

I smiled "good,"

She blushed. Now I got a good look at her. She looked to be around 20, my age, beautiful blue eyes. A perfectly shaped nose. Her skin shade was just perfection extremely pale except where she blushed. She wore her blond hair cropped short to about chin length. Her face looked like it would be square and masculine if she asked it to.

"u-u-u-um," I stuttered "your room is upstairs third on the left." I felt heat rise in my cheeks.

"Da-I mean, thank you."

"Your welcome," she turned to walk away, "hey listen," I called, "I am sorry about your sister and all I understand."

She nodded once, and I could swear I could see a tear forming in her eye. She promptly left.

That is the only bit you get.
